United As One and Forever One Thank You are a fan initiative, built and run independently by Warriors. This site is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Q-dance or Defqon.1 in any way. Any names, colors, or references to Defqon.1 are used purely out of appreciation and to give context to the message we're sharing.
Non-profit, no commercial purpose
This site exists purely as a collective thank you from the Tribe. There is no commercial purpose behind it. We don't run ads, we don't sell anything, and nobody earns anything from clicks, visits, taps, reactions, or the messages people leave. We also don't ask for or accept donations of any kind.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to get a rough idea of how many Warriors visit and where the site is found, nothing more. It's not used for advertising, we don't sell or share this data, and it doesn't earn us anything. You'll see a short banner on your first visit asking whether that's okay with you, if you decline, no analytics cookie is set.
We don't store IP addresses in a plain, readable form anywhere on this site. Before an IP address is saved (for example to stop someone spamming the same message with reactions), it's scrambled through a one-way process that can't be reversed, so it can never be turned back into your actual address or traced to you personally. Google Analytics works in a similar spirit: it only ever stores a shortened, anonymized version of your IP address, never the full one.
Public messages and reactions
Messages, replies, and reactions left on the Afterglow Wall are visible to anyone who visits the site. Please keep that in mind when you decide what to share and how much of your name or personal details to include.
Content we don't allow
Messages or replies that are hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise offensive are not permitted on this site, and will be removed as soon as we become aware of them. If you come across a message or reply that you believe crosses that line, or if you'd like a message removed for any other reason, please let us know through the contact page and we'll look into it.
